Waterberry Lodge is an affordable option for visitors to Victoria Falls enjoying a secluded spot on the banks of the Zambezi. Although around 22km outside of Livingstone, the lodge is still close enough to the Falls and town for comfort.
One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls has a strong draw for tourists resulting in a varied array of experiences on offer. Visitors can see the Falls from the air, with a guide or from the end of a bungee cable. The town of Livingstone has its own interesting sites to offer while the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park adds a safari into the mix. Meanwhile, the great Zambezi is perfect for laid back river cruises and fishing excursions.
Accommodation consists of seven stone-and-thatch cottages in Double, Twin and Family configurations with air conditioning, mosquito nets and private decks overlooking the river or a dam and its bird life. Groups of eight or families seeking privacy may opt for the separate River Farmhouse. The main lodge comprises terrace, sun deck, dining area, upstairs viewing lounge and bar while a swimming pool is found in the gardens.
