Singita Sweni Lodge in the Kruger National Park might be the little sister of Singita Lebombo but it’s no less opulent. Situated on the verdant banks of the Sweni River, modern autumnal-coloured furniture springs to life with vivid shades of green in one of the most intimate lodges in the Kruger.
The rolling plains and thickets of the Kruger National Park give way to the rocky outcrops and succulent vegetation of the eastern sector, adding depth and diversity to a Kruger safari. Sweni is also home to the ever-popular "armchair safari". This spectacular spot on the banks of the Sweni River attracts a stream of animals and birdlife, guaranteed to delight any safari enthusiast.
Sweni’s seven Suites are perched on stilts above the lush river and blend effortlessly into the surrounding trees. Striking decor balances a reminder of Victorian style with minimalistic touches of glass, chrome and wicker. Suites are open-plan (with curtains for privacy) with deep baths, splendid views of the river and lavish decks with daybeds and outdoor showers.
