Puku Ridge Camp

Located deep inside Zambia’s incredible South Luangwa National Park on a small hill overlooking a dried up flood plain – often teeming with wildlife – the views from Puku Ridge Camp are, first and foremost, superb. 

Activities include day and night safari drives and guided walks, with the camp promising easy access to largely undisturbed game-viewing in the south. Inspired by the natural surroundings, the camp embraces warm hues and tones throughout, with large spacious decking echoing the expansive floodplain beyond. 

Taking its name from the furry orange antelopes that graze the local floodplain, Puku Ridge has seven luxe, chalet-style tents that, unlike at storied sister properties Old Mondoro and Chiawa Camp in Lower Zambezi, offer more upscale facilities and contemporary style. Standout features include indoor and outdoor showers and tubs, rooftop “star beds” for sleeping under the night sky and private plunge pools.
