On the banks of the Boro

Sanctuary Baine’s Camp is, without a doubt, one of the most distinctive safari experiences in Botswana. The camp is built on raised platforms right over the Boro River, providing jaw-dropping views of the surrounding wilderness.

There’s plenty to do at Sanctuary Baine’s Camp, including game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, guided walking safaris and river excursions by way of mokoro or motorised boat. The Okavango Delta region is famous for its high animal population, and regular sightings of lion, buffalo, giraffe and wild dog are a common occurrence. During the local summer, scores of flamingos gather in the wetlands to strut their stuff.

Accommodation consists of just five suites, making this the ideal destination for an intimate honeymoon or any romantic getaway. All suites feature private decks, en-suite bathrooms, four-poster beds and ceiling fans. The bed can be wheeled out on to the deck at night for a star-gazing experience. When not out exploring, relish delicious meals prepared by the on-site culinary team.
