The location of Onguma Bush Camp on the 34,000ha Onguma Reserve skirts the eastern edge of Etosha National Park and peeks over the border to glimpse Etosha Pan. Onguma offers travellers access to Namibia’s premier game-viewing destination by day, and the ability to off-road in search of wildlife within its own boundaries by night.
Aside from a prolific wildlife population that includes four of the Big 5, Etosha boasts the Etosha Pan – a crucial breeding ground for flamingos who arrive in droves alongside great white pelicans. Onguma Game Reserve is also home to an impressive population of fauna including black rhino, giraffe, lion, cheetah and leopard to name a few.
Guests at Onguma Bush Camp can choose to stay in their standard rooms, waterhole/poolside rooms, rondavels, or in their family unit or Settler’s room. The camp and its accommodation options are family friendly, and boast a swimming pool, bar, lounge, and dining area that overlooks a waterhole. Guests can spend their days enjoying game drives in Etosha and interpretative bushwalks and night drives in Onguma.
