Overlooking a small waterhole in the creases of the Omboroko Mountains is Okonjima's Villa. After years of dedicated hard work, Okonjima, together with the AfriCat Foundation, has achieved notable success in both the conservation and rehabilitation of Namibia’s big carnivores, and in providing top-class safaris.
Close to the Waterberg Plateau, this area offers spectacular cheetah and leopard safaris, and thanks to AfriCat, chances to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat are ever-increasing. Your private guide will track wildlife with you, either on foot during a guided nature walk or in 4x4 vehicles during a Game and Nature Drive. Catch a glimpse of life as a bushman on the Bushman Trail, and observe nocturnal animals such as honey badger and porcupine from the night hide.
The grand villa consists of four luxury suites, accommodating up to eight adults and four children and can be booked exclusively for a group or family. Suites are fitted with en-suite bedrooms with fold-away glass-panelled doors, indoor and outdoor showers and a bathtub, augmented by an expansive lounge, kitchenette, and dining area. Wheel your king-size bed onto the terrace to sleep under the stars, and savour concoctions made by your personal chef from your infinity pool.
