Set on a bend of the Luwi River, Time + Tide Nsolo Bush Camp is one of the most remote camps in the South Luangwa wilderness. This allows for few passable roads, which means most game-viewing is done on walking safaris. With only a small number of Tented Suites dotting the riverbank, guests are guaranteed privacy and seclusion.
Known for its lion population, the area is the overlapping point of various pride territories. Set off on an exhilarating hunt for fresh tracks to lead you to the lion’s hideaway. From up close, watch these creatures stalk their prey or ward off unwanted rivals. The rare wild dog is no stranger to the area and often makes an appearance.
Built on raised wooden decks with grass and reed walls, the five tented suites merge effortlessly with their surroundings. Private verandahs overlook the unfolding bush and Luwi River’s waterholes, while open-air en-suite bathrooms allow guests to shower in the shade of the evergreen trees. The open-sided main area, with its bush bar and lounge, overlooks the dry riverbed’s waterhole. Situated on an elephant path, you’ll see these gentle giants playfully splashing in the water and spraying water into the air.
