Namib Naukluft Lodge

Namib Naukluft Lodge is located on the Nam Nau Habitat near the town of Solitaire and about 80km from Sesriem, the entrance to Sossusvlei.  The lodge’s prime location allows guests to explore the desert delights of the Nam Nau reserve, the Namib Naukluft Park or venture further afield to Sossusvlei to see the highest dunes in the world.

This private nature reserve covers an area of 13,000ha, and from certain vantage points you may be able to see from one end to the other. Activities include guided and self-guided hiking trails, 4x4 desert drives and scenic sundowner drives. Daily trips into Sossusvlei with a friendly and knowledgeable guide shouldn’t be missed. The lodge also has a unique nine-hole desert golf course – best enjoyed in the winter months from May to September. 

The 16 Rooms are backed by a large granite outcrop and fronted by private patios overlooking spectacular desert scenery. Hypoallergenic bedding, white cotton percale linens, air-conditioning, fridges and en-suite bathrooms all make for a cool and comfortable stay. The main lodge features an Evian-clear swimming pool, relaxing lounge and cosy bar with fireplace and dining area.
