Naledi Reserve is part of the 40,000ha Balule Game Reserve, an area known as Big 5 territory and one that allows off-roading and bushwalks. Here, visitors can get that much closer to some of the continent’s most renowned residents, led by Naledi’s expert guides and unrestricted by the normal rules that apply in the Kruger National Park.
The lodge’s three suites are named after well-known trees in the reserve – the Marula, Leadwood and Paperbark. All have Wi-Fi access, en-suite bathroms, tea/coffee facilities, air-conditioning and luxurious amenities. They sleep two to five people, depending on which one you pick, and the largest of the lot – the Leadwood – has its own private plunge pool. When you're not exploring the reserve, enjoy atmospheric dining experiences or the wildlife from a different perspective when observing them from the game hide.
