From July to October, Lemala Mara Tented Camp can be found near the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti. This area of the Serengeti is remote but is home to a high density of wildlife. The number of animals soars even higher when the Great Migration begins to pass through, meaning that guests can experience amazing game viewing without the huge crowds.
The camp moves with the seasons between the North and South Serengeti, following the Great Migration. Lemala Mara is located under Euclea trees in one of the best game-viewing areas of the Serengeti. Unsurprisingly, game drives are the main activity at the camp. For those who want to go on full day drives, picnic breakfasts and lunches can be organised.
12 en-suite tents are on offer with two double beds in each. Triple tents are also available — there are 26 beds in total. The tents are mosquito proof and have flush toilets, hot showers, and running water. The communal tent includes a lounge, dining area, and bar. Home cooked meals are provided and in the evening guests gather around the campfire to enjoy canapés and cocktails.
