Kuname Lodge

Kuname River Lodge is an unabashedly exclusive and luxurious safari lodge in the 9,000ha Karongwe Game Reserve. The Blyde River Canyon and Three Rondavels rock formations along the scenic Panorama Route are less than two hours away, while the Kruger National Park is a short 45-minute drive from the lodge. Karongwe is also known for its prolific birdlife, with over 365 bird species calling the reserve home.

Amid this untamed garden, overlooking the Kuvenjane River and with expansive views of the Drakensberg mountains, guests can relax on Kuname’s deck or wade about in their rock pool. Select a South African wine from the cellar to pair with dinner and enjoy a sophisticated dining experience al fresco on their circular deck overlooking the river. Their four luxury suites have outdoor showers while their premier suite has an outdoor shower and bath.
