Time + Tide Chongwe River Camp has a passion for sharing the ambience of Africa with those eager to experience it. This camp on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park captures the natural serenity that this continent has become so well-known for. Guests come here to indulge their senses and to view wildlife and nature in one of its many magical environments.
This award-winning camp is known as one of the best places to cast a line for tiger fish. Other thrilling activities on offer include canoeing excursions along the river, land-based activities such as walking safaris (in a country known as the birthplace of this safari activity), and day and night game drives.
Chongwe River Camp has nine Classic Tents and two Tented Suites. The Cassia Suite, in particular, is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic escape with its private plunge pool, fire pit, canopied lounge, private dining area, and the waters of the Zambezi mere steps away. The Albida Suite is just as charming and boasts similar features with the exception that it is designed for a family of four.
