Amid a unique combination of riverine forest, wetlands and Kalahari woodland, Lianshulu Lodge offers not only a superb wilderness experience but also an enchantingly beautiful one. Overlooking the Kwando River in the Mudumu National Park of Namibia, Lianshulu is home to over 400 bird species and a host of wildlife such as lion, leopard, buffalo, giraffe and plenty of antelope.
Daily morning and evening game drives conducted on open-air vehicles are an engaging experience with guides sharing knowledge of the animals found in the area as well as their unique habitat. Together with nature walks, fishing and boat cruises on the river, Lianshulu offers guests abundant opportunities to connect with nature and simply enjoy the beauty of the surrounding sky and landscapes.
The lodge has a traditional safari feel with thatched roofs, wooden beams and a large dining, bar and living area that creates plenty of space to relax and enjoy the river views. The Suites (including a Family Room) are set along the river amid the thick vegetation, complete with a ceiling fan, mosquito nets and private decks. Relish gourmet meals crafted by the expert chef at the on-site lapa, alongside breathtaking views.
