Time + Tide Kakuli Bush Camp

A mere stone’s throw from the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa rivers, Time + Tide Kakuli Bush Camp promises an authentic experience. Geared for discerning travellers who take their safari seriously and want to spend more time outside their tent than in, Kakuli is a superb game-viewing base or a stopover for those undertaking a walking safari.

South Luangwa National Park is a prime spot for walking safaris. It's heady giraffe, elephant, and buffalo populations complement the abundance of predators in the area, while its numerous water sources keep many of the park’s inhabitants close by. Night drives are permitted in the park, highlighting a totally different perspective of the landscape.

Kakuli Bush Camp’s four thatched tents have views of the river and are made up of reed walls, polished floors, and open-air bathrooms. Guests can decide whether their daily itineraries will consist of vehicle or walking safaris, while the February and March months will see access to activities that take place via boat due to river levels being at their highest.
